Items such as speed and extra lives collected from destroyed ememies are stored in a tail behind your ship. By pressing the second button they are activated one by one in the order they were collected. You can steal items from ememies or players that have tails like you, but they of course can steal your items too. Items include speed, extend, three way shot, homing missales, horizontal line of fire, a brush that originates from your ship and moves right and left, and a rotating weapon.
