Think of it as a mix of Ninja Gaiden (for NES) and Bionic Commando. Nice graphics and sound; it will bring back memories. Classic "ninja" side-scrolling platform control. The player can jump high, attach to and climb some ceilings, and attach his/herself to faraway objects with the grappling hook.
