Bad Dudes Vs. DragonNinja

              Manufacturer: Data East
              Year: 1988

Descpription: At first glance, this game was seen by many, at the time, as Data East's answer to
the 1987 beat-em-up hit Double Dragon by Technos; however, besides having a similar
style and appearance, the game is displayed in a 2D platform manner, while Double Dragon
is displayed in 2D with 3D grounds, streets, floors and other places to walk on.

Also, Bad Dudes Vs. DragonNinja has some levels that are similar to the ones in Namco's
1986 Rolling Thunder and its sequels, while the gameplay is similar to the gameplay of
Irem's 1984 Kung-Fu Master arcade game and its spiritual 1988 successor, Vigilante.

Player One controlling Blade (one with white pants) and Player Two controlling Striker
(one in green pants) will start with nothing but the ability to do punches, kicks and jumps.

Some moves are special like spinning kicks and the ability to charge themselves
up to throw a powerful, but short-ranged punch toward opponents.

Players will also come across several power-ups. Some are weapons (such as
nunchaku and knives) and some recharge a player's health (such as a
can of soda), yet others add a few seconds to the remaining time.

Knives and nunchakus both had their advantages and disadvantages. The knife
offers a faster hit time, but it is smaller in reach than the nunchaku.

The nunchaku offers the ability to hit enemies from further away,
although it is slower and can't hit projectiles or thrown objects.

Obtaining either of the weapons also enables a player to turn quicker, noticeably
removing the transition frame when the player character would turn around.
