Descpription:
A typical vertically scrolling shoot-em-up
game based on the 1995 anime series of the same name.
You play as one of three characters, each with his or
her own unique Valkyrie fighter:
Isamu Dyson in his YF-19.
Guld Bowman in his YF-21.
An unnamed female pilot in the VF-11.
Like the first Macross game, Super Spacefortress Macross, this
game plays much the same as Raiden. Your Valkyrie transforms
into three modes (fighter, gerwalk, and battroid) by grabbing
power-ups labled F, G, and B. Each mode has its own set of weapons.
Each character also has his or her own unique set of weapons
for each mode. Micro Missiles can be fired by holding down
the fire button for a few seconds. The longer the button
is held, the more missiles will be fired.
